Chesworth was absolutely full of birds today with some huge finch flocks including c100 Redpoll, c200 Siskin and up to 70 Greenfinch. One of the pair of Barn Owl was sat at the front of the nestbox and an unusual sighting for here was of a Cormorant that flew over. Ringing was very productive and Eddie and I didn't stop all morning catching 15 species including 89 new birds.
Highlights included a few more Reed Buntings out of roost, another Woodpigeon and three Redpolls caught coming to feeders.

Chaffinch - 6
Reed Bunting - 4
Great Tit - 8
Blue Tit - 42
