With the heavy wind today I put out the potter traps in the garden again and only caught three species - Robin, Blackbird and Song Thrush. The Blackbird was a female ringed this January, finally a new Song Thrush (below), which has been taunting the traps every time I put them out.
Interestingly, I caught ten Robins all of which were ringed in 2009 bar two new ones and none of which were caught during the last session, meaning that there are at least 17 individuals in and around my garden at the moment!
